In this program the students will learn to repair and provide maintenance to the electrical system of automobiles, trucks and buses. Alternators, starters, and accessories systems will be tested and repaired. Precision instruments such as: oscilloscopes, DVOM, ammeters and sophisticated equipment like O.T.C. 4000, Engine Analyzer, among others, will be used. Defective electrical systems will be diagnosed, analyzed and repaired by using specialized tools.

Upon completion of the training, the graduate will be qualified to take and pass the revalidation exam for Technician of Automobile Electromechanics and to satisfactorily perform as an Electromechanical Technician at a service shop and/or on his/her own business after successfully obtaining the corresponding license. He/she will also have the opportunity to occupy management positions or establish his/her own business.
